Description
Purpose: To decrease the sharing displacement in bellows by setting the support points for the thick wall portions at symmetrical positions relative to the bellows upon setting and sliding support of the thick wall portions alternately combined with the bellows for constituting a vacuum container. Constitution: The vacuum container of a thermonuclear device is formed with alternately combined thick wall portions and bellows, and each of the thick wall portions is supported by fixed supports and sliding supports. Support point positions between adjacent thick wall portions are made symmetrical relative to the bellows between these thick wall portions. In this structure, since the radial displacements for each of the thick wall portions are in the same direction and only the axial compressing displacement is applied to the bellows, the sharing displacement exerted as forcive displacement on the bellows is decreased to thereby prevent the generation of great stress in the bellows.
