Crystal structure of CsSbGeO5, a new germanate with ring radical [Ge4O12]

Description
New compounds of CsSbGeO5, CsSbSiO5, RbSbSiO5, RbTaSiO5 are synthesized, crystals are grown and crystallic structure of CsSbGeO5 (sp.gr. P4m2, a = 7.24, c = 20.02 A, Z = 8) is decoded, wherin new type of mixed framework formed of Sb octahedrons and Ge-tetrahedral quadrupole rings is determined. The structure is characterized by high true and pseudosymmetry. Common structural fragments are defined by comparison with structures of other groups of A+M5+X4+O5 (X = Si, Ge) compounds; possibility of superproperties is indicated
