Technique for sealing fuel rods for nuclear reactors
Description
A technique is proposed which uses a laser welding unit to weld the end caps of fuel rods filled with fuel pellets and to drill a pressure hole in one of the end caps. The same equipment is employed also in making a sealing weld of the pressure hole after pressurization of the fuel rod. The technique is described in great detail. (UWI)

Es wird ein Verfahren vorgeschlagen, bei dem beim Verschweissen der Endstopfen von mit Brennstoffpellets gefuellten Brennstaeben und zum Bohren eines Druckloches in einem Endstopfen eine Laser-Verschweissausruestung eingesetzt wird. Die gleiche Ausruestung wird auch zum Dichtschweissen des Druckloches nach dem Unterdrucksetzen des Brennstabes angewandt. Das Verfahren ist sehr ausfuehrlich beschrieben. (UWI)Files
