Comparative doses for amphibia from radio contaminated areas and acute irradiation

Description
Brown frogs were exposed to acute irradiation (0,5-4 Gy). Dynamics and levels of aberrant bone morrow cells were investigated. The radiosensitivity of R.temporaria and R.arvalis was the same at 2-3 Gy dose rate. The isoeffective doses for frogs from radio contaminated biotopes were established to be from 1 for 30 cGy.
