Mass-spectrometer source for making ions of thermally labile bioorganic substances

Description
A description is given of a source producing ions of high-molecular compounds, which is based on secondary ion emission for the substance in a liquid matrix (glycerol) and acted on by a primary ion beam composed of about 5 keV Cs+. Primary beam current 1 mA, secondary current at input to multiplier 10-11-10-16 A
