Anion-exchange extraction of yttrium(III) and neodymium(III) from succinate solution
Description
Selective separation of Nd(III) and Y(III) from La(III), Th(IV), U(VI), Dy(III) and Sc(III) is achieved by extraction from sodium succinate solution using Aliquat 336 as an extractant. The probable extracted species is (R4N+M(C4O2)2-). The results of separation of various synthetic mixtures are reported. (author). 10 refs
