The risk philosophy
Description
The risks are inside the activity or outside the activity. On the second type of risks it is possible to distinguish between the hazardous events that are foreseeable and that are unforeseeble (accident). It is possible to foresee the first type of events through technical knowledge (a priori), experiences (a posteriori), and imagination. (DG)

Das Risiko kann im System selbst stecken oder von ausserhalb an es herantreten. Bei dem zweiten Risikotyp wird zwischen vorhersehbaren Ereignissen und unvorhersehbaren Ereignissen (Unfall) unterschieden. Mit der Kenntnis der vorhersehbaren Ereignisse, die auf technischem Know-how, Erfahrungen und Ueberlegungen beruht, kann das Risiko, z.B. in der Technischen Anlage, reduziert werden.
