The study of RADOS detectors application in detecting the environmental radiations

Description
Stationary RADOS detectors which are owned by Tehran Nuclear Research Center in Iran, are generally used for detecting and recording the nuclear accidents near radiation resources, such as Tehran Research Reactor, Gamma Irradiation Center, Radioisotope Production Center and Neutron Generator. These detectors are able to monitor and announce the release of radionuclides into the environment under normal, abnormal and emergency conditions. The results of this detailed study show that the amount of produced radiation per year inside the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran is far less than the registered standards of IAEA and ICRP
