Description
Using the transfer-matrix method the symmetry properties of the envelope functions in GaAs-Alsub(x)Gasub(1-x)As superlattices in the presence of a magnetic field, applied along the superlattice axis, are studied. It is shown that, in general, with increasing magnitude of the magnetic field the band inversion phenomenon occurs. (author)
