Photoproduction of the eta prime meson in the effective Lagrangian approach
- 1. Rensselaer Polytechnic Inst., Troy, NY (United States)
- 2. Univ. of Saskatchewan, Saskaton (Canada)
Description
In the framework of the effective Lagrangian approach, the authors study the η' photoproduction off protons, of great interest at CEBAF I and II. They calculate the contributions from the leading nucleon Born terms, vector meson exchanges, and estimate the resonance contributions, using the transition amplitudes from the recent quark model estimates by Capstick and Roberts. They discuss implications for the CEBAF experiments
