Study of the 9Be(t,n)11B and 12C(t,n)14N reactions at incident energies of 1.1 to 1.7 MeV
Description
An attempt of applying of the Hauser-Feshbach theory to the analysis of 9Be(t,n)11B and 12C(t,n)14N reactions at incident energies of 1.1 to 1.7 MeV is presented. Neutron spectra and angular distribution in the range 3 deg to 162 deg in the center of mass system were measured using the nuclear emulsion. The angular distributions of the tritons energy range were averaged in the aim of the investigation of the reaction mechanism. Obtained results suggest the occurrence of the compound nucleus formation. The n6, n8 and n9 neutron groups from 9Be(t,n)11B reaction and the n3 group from 12C(t,n)14N reaction show the significant contribution of the direct interaction. (author)
