Description

A study was made on processes of Mo(6) complexing with nitrate- and chlorate ions from their catalytic polarographic reduction currents in solutions of sulfuric, perchloric and mandelic acids. Constants of molybdenum (6) complexing with nitrate ions MoO22+HNO3- (K--2.1 lxmol-1) with bisulfate ion MoO22+xHSO4- (K2=0.9 lxmol-1) as well as equilibrium constants of ion-exchange of NO3- and ClO3- for HSO4 in the studied complexes and constants of intracomplex oxidation rate: Mo3+ to Mo5+ with nitrate ion (k=(1400+-40)lxmol-1xs-1) and Mo5+ to Mo6+ with chlorate ion(k=1.1x108 lxmol-1xs-1), were calculated
