Description
We are developing a tracking code based on Particle In Cell method (PIC) for an electron gun design. This code consists of two parts, Finite Element Method (FEM) and PIC. The former calculates the initial static field in the gun with high voltage, the latter calculates the beam dynamics and change of the electromagnetic field in time steps. The electro static field solver for axial symmetric gun had been accomplished. On the other hand the PIC routine with triangular meshes is being made now. In this paper, we describe the current status of our code and a few problems of PIC routine. (author)
