Effect of the solar eclipse on July 22, 1990 on mid-latitude lines of 4 Mm in extent

Description

Studies of different mode variations of probing linear-frequency-modulated SW-signal during the solar eclipse with 0.5-0.7 phase are carried out by method of inclination probing. Reduction of 1F2 ionograms to Ne(h)-profiles for mid-line point is accomplished. It is shown that electron concentration in the F-region of ionosphere decreased by 6-8%.
