The crystal structure of the RNi9In2 (R=Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er) compounds
- 1. L'vovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (Ukrainian SSR)
Description
The RNi9In2 rare earth compounds are prepared by electron arc melting of compact metals in the argon atmosphere. The crystal structure is established on the example of YNi9In2 compound using the X-ray diffraction method (sp. gr. P4/m, b, m a=0.8222(2), c=0.4827(2) nm). The divergence factor for 97 reflexes hkl is equal to 0.114. The YNi9In2 compound is the first representative of the superstructure of the Ce(Mnsub(0.55)Nisub(0.45))sub(11) type. The lattice parameters are determined for the isostructural compounds
