Charge asymmetry in the reaction e+e-→bb-bar: evidence against topless models
Description
It is shown that the experimental value of the charge asymmetry in the process e+e-→bb-bar contradicts the predictions of topless models with extended symmetry groups of the electroweak interaction, including the recent, superstring-inspired topless model of E. Ma. Therefore, if one follows the superstring approach a third E6 family must necessarily exist
