Utilization of AG1X8 resin in Mo-99 purification process

Description
This work describes the behavior of 99 Mo in AGIX8 resin. Distribution coefficient of 99 Mo in KOH, HN O3, Na NO3 e H NO3 media was determined and breakthrogh curve was obtained. 99.7% 99 Mo retention in AGIX8 column was achieved and 85% of 99 Mo sorbed in AGIX8 column was achieved and 85% of 99 Mo sorbed was recovered using 3 mol/L Na NO3 as eluent.
