Cesium speciation in solid matrix and its specific ion adsorption by soils

Description

Influence of humic acids on specific radiocesium interception potential (SRIP) determination was established as well. Sorption isotherm of cesium on zeolite was influenced was influenced mainly at very low concentration of cesium (below 10-6 M), moreover unexpectedly by the increase of its distribution ratio. At concentration of humic acid above 0.035 g/l, formation of a silver precipitation occurs in the 0.01 AgTU solution (pH 5.5), and the SRIP estimation was investigated at equilibrium concentration of humic acid cHA = 0.02 g/l. 1 fig., 6 refs
