Pulmonary cryptococcosis - a rare differential diagnosis of pulmonary nodules

In connection with a case of pulmonary cryptococcosis, the clinical manifestations, radiological findings and therapeutic possibilities are discussed. Although pulmonary cryptococcosis is relatively uncommon, the diagnosis should be considered in any immunologically compromised patient with an abnormal chest roentgenogram. (orig.)

Anhand eines Fallberichtes einer Kryptokokkose der Lunge werden die klinischen Symptome, die radiologischen Befunde und die therapeutischen Moeglichkeiten eroertert. Obwohl die Lungenkryptokokkose ein relativ seltenes Krankheitsbild darstellt, muss diese Diagnose insbesondere bei Patienten mit defektem Immunsystem und einer pathologischen Roentgenaufnahme des Thorax in die differentialdiagnostischen Ueberlegungen einbezogen werden.
