On the quark content of delta(980) and other scalar mesons

Description
Recent data on the eta' → eta ππ rate are shown to provide valuable information concerning the ratio between the delta eta'π and delta eta π coupling constants. This is consistent with an ordinary (q anti q) interpretation for the delta-meson and makes its alternative interpretation as a q anti q q anti q meson rather unlikely. (orig.)
