Calculation of relativistic multiconfigurational level lifetimes of Au49+ in Au laser plasma

Description
Based on the extended relativistic multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock theory, the level lifetimes, level widths and wavelengths of Au49+ have been calculated by using the General Purpose Relativistic Atomic Structure Program. The obtained wavelengths are in good agreement with the available experimental data. The relationship between the level lifetimes and the level widths satisfies the Heisenberg uncertainty principle
