Growing of monocrystals Ln2GeSe5, Ln2Ge2Se7e Ln2Ge3Se9 and investigation of their physical properties

Description
Using the method of chemical transport reactions monocrystals of polycrystal selenogermanates of the composition Ln2GeSe5, Ln2Ge2Se7 and Ln2Ge3Se9 have been prepared and their certain physicochemical properties have been investigated. On the basis of thermal and chemical analyses formation mechanism is suggested and the optimum regimes of monocrystal preparation from gaseous phase are estabtished. The width af the forbidden zore of Ln2GeSe5 (Ln-La, Ce, Pr) is equal to 1.68; 1.61; 1.66 eV, and of Ln2Ge2Se7 - 1.19; 1.21; 1.42 eV respectively
