Measurement of visible radiation in HT-6M tokamak with titanium gettering and boronization
- 1. Academia Sinica, Hefei, AH (China). Inst. of Plasma Physics
Description
The behaviour of hydrogen and impurity (C and O) flux in HT-6M Tokamak with Titanium gettering and boronization is presented. Oxygen and carbon influx reduce more than two times, neutral hydrogen influx decreases about 40% and the particle recycling coefficient reduces from 0.95 to 0.85 after Ti gettering. Oxygen influx reduces by a factor of two. Carbon influx decreases about 60%, neutral hydrogen influx reduces about 20% and the particle recycling coefficient reduces from 0.95 to 0.91 after boronization. These results show that Ti gettering and boronization can effectively control the source of carbon and oxygen impurities, reduce particle recycling and improve particle confinement
