Production of heavy Σ--hypernuclei by the (π-, K+) reaction

Description

The Σ-hypernuclear production by (π-, K+) on 208Pb target is investigated on the basis of a realistic nucleus-Σ potential. Narrow peaks coming from bound states of Σ- are seen in the spectrum. (orig.)
