Quantitative Tl201-SPECT of the heart

Description

The importance of quantitative Tl201-SPECT of the heart in routinediagnostic should be demonstrated by an unselected group of patients from the ambulance of our hospital. To this the countratio of polarimaging of the heart after stress and during rest were calculated and compared with a normal collective from EISNER. The results were correlated with coronary angiography. The results show that quantitative analysis of polarimaging of the heart is helpful in differential diagnosis. Furthermore it is important after PTCA and bypass surgery. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Der Stellenwert quantitativer Tl SPECT-Untersuchungen des Herzens fuer die Routinediagnostik sollte an Hand eines unselektionierten Patientenkollektivs einer nuklearmedizinischen Ambulanz eines Allgemeinkrankenhauses ermittelt werden. Hierzu wurden sektoriell die Countzahlen der Polartomogramme nach Belastung und in Ruhe ermittelt und mit dem von EISNER publizierten Normalwerten verglichen. Das Ergebnis wurde in Korrelation gesetzt mit dem coronarangiographischen Befund. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass eine quantitative Analyse der Polartomogramme die Differentialdiagnose erleichtern und dem Ungeuebten hilfreich sein kann. Weiterhin ist eine Quantifizierung fuer Verlaufsbeobachtungen z.B. bei PTCA und Bypass Operation wertvoll. (orig.)
