German-French cooperation in the field of advanced reactor systems

Description

The official wording of the agreement between the Federal Ministry for Research and Technology and the French Ministry for Industry and Research is presented. Collaboration is to take place in the field of research and development, design studies, technical planning, construction and utilization of reactors, manufacture of components, and the fuel cycle. Both countries intend to contribute the same funds and to open up the markets. Joint undertakings will be establisted to pool licences. Research programmes will be coordinated. Both countries want to give their former partners the right of participation. (orig./LN)

Abstract (German)

Es wird der offizielle Text der Vereinbarung zwischen dem deutschen Bundesminister fuer Forschung und Technologie und dem franzoesischen Minister fuer Industrie und Forschung wiedergegeben. Die Zusammenarbeit soll sich auf die Bereiche Forschung und Entwicklung, Konzeptionsstudien, technische Planung, Bau und Nutzung von Reaktoren, Herstellung von Komponenten sowie auf den Brennstoffkreislauf erstrecken. Beide Laender wollen gleich hohe Foerderungsmittel bereitstellen und fuer eine Oeffnung der Maerkte sorgen. Fuer das Poolen von Lizenzen werden Gemeinschaftsunternehmen errichtet, die Forschungsprogramme werden koordiniert. Beide Laender werden ihren bisherigen Partnern eine Beteiligung offenhalten.
