The author defends his original article against accusations of not giving due attention to all the sources of statistical error and therefore of not properly evaluating the significance of the results he presents. Also, he does not see any improper interpretation of measured spectra. He does not believe that the original article is confused on important issues and that claims are made without experimental evidence
