Description
Recently a frequency upshifting of short pulses of laser light was studied. Photons, which propagate in a plasma, were shown to be accelerated by propagating down the density gradient of a longitudinal plasma wave. The authors study the possibility of photon acceleration from the viewpoint of three-wave interaction. The waves will interact one another through the wave-particle interaction
