Supra-thermal X rays in TM-3 Tokomak

Description

From a study of Bremsstrahlung emitted between 2.5 and 300keV by a beam of runaway electrons inside the plasma it was possible to estimate the quantity of runaway electrons, the proportion of toroidal current they transport and the quantity of impurities in the plasma. The measurement was calibrated by adding a known amount of krypton to the hydrogen

L'etude du rayonnement de freinage emis entre 2,5 et 300keV par un faisceau d'electrons emballes au sein du plasma a permis d'estimer la quantite d'electrons emballes, la proportion du courant toroidal qu'ils transportent et la quantite d'impuretes dans le plasma. La calibration de la mesure a ete faite en rajoutant une quantite connue de Krypton a l'hydrogene
