Eta→2γ decay and models of elementary particles
- 1. Kyoto Univ. (Japan). Faculty of Engineering
Description
On the basis of composite models, eta→2γ decay is re-analyzed in the light of new data GAMMA sub(eta→2γ)sup(exp)=(0.324+-0.046)keV by using the method of Furlan, Legovini and Paver applied to π0→2γ decay. It is shown that the fractionally charged three-quartet model is the best over other subhadronic models when combined with a ps-meson scheme proposed by Maki, Maskawa and Umemura. (auth.)
