  • 1. China Medical University Nuclear Medicine Department of a Hospital in Siping City, Siping (China)

Description

Objective: To compare the feasibility of normal saline open and conventional intravenous method in 99Tcm-medronate (MDP) scalp. Methods: 520 cases of patients with whole body bone imaging were selected during January 2016 to January 2017 and analysed. All were marked with the short half-life nuclide 99Tcm MDP compounds by intravenous injection, through the blood stream to bone tissue, and SPECT/CT SPECT scan, which could show bone location, form and extent of disease, blood supply and metabolism. Results: With valuable information to ensure accurate resolution of imaging, the success of puncture was 100.0%, and 76.9% in observation group and control group respectively. The difference was, a statistically significant. Conclusion: The injection of nuclide 99Tcm-MDP Imaging agent accuracy and enough dose are to ensure reliable premise of whole body bone Imaging scan images. In this study, scalp acupuncture open normal saline is a safe and effective method of injection, and ensures accuracy of Imaging agents for injection. This method has the advantages of high sensitivity, easy and safe and injury-free, and can supply references for clinical practice. (authors)
