Study of extraction of Ru(4) by octylaniline from acid media

Description
The Ru(4) extraction from muriatic media is investigated. The Ru(4) distribution coefficient dependence on aqueous phase acidity is presented. Electron absorption apectra of equilibrium aqueous and organic phases with different acidity are given. The extraction at variable concentration of the extractant in toluene, caprylic acid and 2-ethylhexanol is studied. Only one anion form is established to extract in the organic phase. The ruthenium does not depolarize in the course of extraction and the anion charge equals 3
