Dose Distribution in 1999 for Workers in the Medical Field Exposed to Ionising Radiation in Romania

Description

Full text: This paper refers to dose distribution in 1999 for workers in the medical field, in different fields of activity such as: radiology, cardiology, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine etc. The statistic was done for a number of 5000 workers in the medical field, who are monitored by the Institute of Public Health from Bucharest. We calculated the collective annual dose in the range (mSv) and compared the values for the different fields of activity. The monitoring was made by film dosimeters. The evaluation of the statistical data is in work and the final data will be presented in the paper. (author)
