Description
The structure of tellurium oxides TeO2, TeO3, Te2O5, Te4O9 and Te2O4(OH)2 is considered. TeO2 exist in two crystalline forms: rhombic and tetragonal, the coordination number is 4. TeO3 is relativity inert substance, and it also has two modifications. Te2O5 and Te2O4(OH)2 are close to each other in structure relation. The Te2O5 structure has the three-dimensional skeleton constructed out of TeO6 and TeO4. Both Te2O4(OH)2 and Te4O9 have the layer structure
