Description

Three times a year, the sustainability compass provides information about the public opinion with regard to sustainability. It offers needed insights for developing, implementing and assessing the sustainable policy alternatives. The results of this fourth edition of the Sustainability compass shows that half of the Dutch population holds the opinion that climate change is caused by greenhouse gas emissions. The emission should be reduced. One out of ten is quite worried about the situation.

Het Duurzaamheidkompas geeft driemaal per jaar aan welke kant het opgaat met de publieke opinie inzake duurzaamheid. Het levert de benodigde inzichten voor het ontwikkelen, implementeren of evalueren van duurzame beleidsalternatieven. De resultaten van deze vierde aflevering van het Duurzaamheidskompas tonen aan dat de helft van de Nederlanders meent dat broeikasgasemissies de oorzaak zijn van klimaatverandering. De uitstoot moet verminderd worden. Een op de tien maakt zich daar veel zorgen over.
