Analysis of track information on fragmentation of projectile nucleus in ultrarelativistic interactions

  • 1. Inst. of Nuclear Physics, Tashkent (Uzbekistan)
  • 2. V. G. Khlopin Radium Inst., St. Petersburg (Russian Federation)

Description

The authors describe a method to analyze the decay of ultrarelativistic particles with a nonzero transverse laboratory component of momentum. The method makes use of information obtained by measuring either only momentum or only departure-angle projections of the fragments. This method is especially effective when measurements in different directions differ in accuracy. 10 refs., 1 fig., 1 tab
