Description
Radioprotection approaches aimed at protecting non-human biota are recent. Currently, several computer models are available that allow assessments of environmental impacts from mathematical modeling of the transfer of radionuclides released into the environment until they reach the biota. The computational code ERICA Tool used in the present study aims to estimate the risk of mining effluents from UTM-INB/Caldas-MG in aquatic biota from the compilation of public data contained in the Technical Report of the Water Commission - Avaliação da Qualidade das Águas e Sedimentos das Microbacias do Ribeirão das Antas e do Ribeirão de Caldas no Planalto de Poços de Caldas
