Description

A Compton scattering imaging method is studied using MCNP Monte Carlo simulations technique. The proposed system is most suitable for the detection of damage done to the inner layer of a thick dual layer pipe. The Compton scattering imaging method is more suitable to this case than the conventional radiography technique since its response is directly depended on the object electronic densities, and therefore any density change will be reviled easily, and due to the need to penetrate through ticker layer of material in order to get the image
