Description

Description of the activities of Radioactive Waste Management Agency (RATA) in 2005 is presented. RATA was established for management and final disposal of all transferred to it radioactive waste, generated by the Ignalina NPP during its operation and decommissioning, as well as to collect, process and finally dispose of radioactive waste from scientific research and health care institutions and industries.
