HBK project high temperature reactor fuel cycle. Data Set for the Graphite ATR-2E (ASI2-F-500)

1. Introduction: This data set for the nuclear graphite ATR-2E has been prepared in a form compatible with the wishes of JAERI within the framework of the KFA/JAERI agreement. The total amount of the nuclear graphite ATR-2E produced to date is about 200 tons. Until 1977 the graphite was known as ASI2-F-500 but at this time the name was changed in the cause of simplification and conformity with other nuclear grades of the SIGRI company. The graphite can be prepared in any diameter up to 450 mm and any length up to 2000 mm. The quality of the graphite is assured due to the strict inspection and measurement procedures conducted by the quality assurance department before the logs leave the factory.
