Results of study in deformation and delayed fracture resistance of 0Kh16N15M3B steel under combined effect of reactor irradiation and dissociating coolant N2O4
Description
Long-term durability characteristics of steel were experimentally studied under effect of reactor irradiation and dissociating heat carrier N2O4 at high temperature and pressure. Results of the study are presented. It is found that dissociating gas at 923 K under reactor and ordinary tests increases durability and decreases creep rate of OKh16N15M3B steel. Long-term ductility of the mentioned material varies depending on integral irradiation dose and mechanical stress. Generalization of the obtained results permitted describing the process of creep in terms of phenomenologic equations taking into account kinetics of corrosion effect of N2O4 medium on steel
