Description
Zinc oxide (ZnO) rod/biowaste-derived porous carbon composites have been rationally fabricated via pyrolysis of peanut shells with zinc chloride. Given the synergistic effects among hierarchical pores, decent CO2 uptake capacity, and abundant active sites, the optimized ZnO/PSC-4 catalyst achieves extraordinary catalytic performance for the cycloaddition of epoxides with CO2.
