Description

This poster presents radioecological monitoring of the groundwater in the vicinity of some of low-level radioactive waste storage sites. This waste was mainly produced during the decontamination process after the Chernobyl accident of April 1986. It gives main characteristics of eleven major disposal sites and specific activity due to 137Cs, 90Sr and 239,240Pu. 3 refs, 2 tabs
