Experimental investigation of the temperature dependence of the density of the normal component of helium II in narrow pores

  • 1. State University, Tbilisi

Description

The total density of helium II in narrow pores has been found to remain constant to within 0.5% between 1.4 K and T/sub lambda/. This allows the temperature dependence of the normal-component density to be calculated from the temperature dependence of the superfluid component, which was established in Ref. 4
