Simulation of nuclear cascades in atmosphere

Description

Three-dimensional modelling of a cascade process in the atmosphere was carried out. During the modelling, both strong and electromagnetic interactions were taken into account. Of the 12500 cascades which attained the observation level 2757 families were selected satisfying the following conditions: the total γ-quanta energy of the family would be higher than or equal to 3 TeV; within a circle of radius 5 cm the number of γ-quanta would be 3(<=)Nsub(γ)(<=)200. Multiplicity distributions of the hadrons and γ-quanta were presented plotted from the families so selected
