Description
The viscosity and the electric resistance of molten indium amalgams were measured by the combined no-electrode method in the range between 50 and 350 deg C. The isotherms of the kinematic and the dynamic viscosity are characterized by the maximums at contents of indium in the amalgams of 25, 50 and 90 atomic %. The concentration dependences of the activation energy of the viscous flow and the temperature coefficient of the electric resistance feature extrema in the range of formation of intermetallic compounds InHg3 and InHg. The physicochemical properties of the system indium-mercury were compared with thermodynamic properties
