Fracture of high-chromium stainless steels under stress in a medium containing hydrogen sulfide
Description
Studied were features of fractures in high chromium stainless steels (12Kh13, 12Kh17, 15KhG) after stress corrosion testing in a medium containing hydrogen sulfide without polarization and using cathode polarization at 5A/dm2 current density. It is shown, that the structure of the steels under investigation not only affects the time to fracture in the testing medium but affects greatly the fracture mechanism
