Development and implementing of computational systems for the operation control of hot-cold installation and for monitoring the isotopic stock in heavy water production pilot

Description

The performance of isotopic exchange hot-cold installation H2 O - H2 S is strongly influenced by flow rates ratio in the cold separation columns. This paper presents the development of a set of programs for collecting and primary processing of the operating parameters in order to simulate the hot-cold installation working, to compute the control parameters, and to centralize the data of installation work. This set of programs allows the testing of installation operating based on the isotopic stock evolution, and detection of errors related with control and measuring equipment. The good results obtained on pilot installation led to accomplishment of the computational system for the control of operation of the hot-cold installation ROMAG - Drobeta, Romania
