Description

Despite extensive charged-particle studies the level structure of Yttrium 89 above 3 MeV was essentially unknown and uncertainties remained at lower excitations. In the study total cross section measurements were made at incident neutron energies of 0,5 x 0,1 to 4,2 MeV. Differential neutron scattering measurements were made at 50 keV intervals from 1,5 to 4,0 MeV. Differential inelastic cross sections were determined concurrently with the elastic scattering cross sections. Inelastic gamma ray measurements were also made
