Self-similar solution of melting zone shape under electron beam welding

Description
Mathematical model of solving the melting zone shape under electron beam welding, taking account of the melt removal from the gas-steam channel to the melting zone (end) tail, is presented. Redistribution of heat power redistribution between the sources and their relative position is solved self-similarly by the shape of melting zone cross section. In calculation of the temperature fields the specific heat of material melting is taken account of the comparative evaluation of calculated and experimental data manifests adoption of the given model for electron beam welding and in determimation of workpiece stressed state
